“A God’s Eye View” By Rev. Ronni Verboom

There exists in our culture a belief that at the time of death, or near-death, we will see our lives plainly: the good, the bad, made crystal clear for us.

There is the accompanying notion that the sight will be something of a revelation. We will see our lives in a way we have NEVER seen them before; perhaps as if we are seeing them through GOD’S eyes.

Why can’t we see our lives plainly before then? Probably because we don’t WANT to. The Scripture for today shows us this very clearly. It’s a story about our reluctance and even refusal to SEE.
