Baker Memorial Church Library

Our Baker Library is a warm and welcoming place.

The BMUMC Library was founded on January 2, 1965 and has grown from  those few shelves to a pleasant room filled with many Books, DVDs and CDs.

In addition to keeping the tried-and-true-reads, we strive to keep our collection filled with updated Christian-themed and theologically correct items for all ages – elementary through adult.

Our library belongs to the National Church Library Association, which provides help in keeping us abreast of available and suitable information for our congregation’s needs.

To keep our church membership informed of new reads and activities, we include articles for the Sunday bulletin inserts as well as more lengthy articles for the monthly newsletter, the Carillon.

We are fortunate to have three senior librarians, five junior librarians and a Review Committee consisting of 10 people.

Our library also is the logical, perfect gathering spot for our monthly Adult Book Club, which meets at 1 p.m. on the first Monday of each month. All in all – our library is alive and doing well. Stop in and visit!
