Using Our Building

Our church can be a busy place, which is a wonderful situation to face! We routinely field numerous requests from church groups, ministries and committees to use our various spaces, plus receive inquiries from outside entities.

Requests for room usage at Baker Memorial United Methodist Church MUST go through the office. Otherwise, groups risk scheduling, and publicizing, conflicting events.

We have two Usage Request Forms, one for church events and a second for external events not sponsored by Baker. The form is also a Communication Request, where information on communicating about your event needs to be entered.   Where appropriate and agreed upon, the church office will publicize events for groups outside Baker Memorial.  The form for non-church events includes our donation schedule, deposit requirements and information on our requirement of a certificate of liability insurance.

Forms may be downloaded from the website or may be obtained in the church office.

Please return forms to the church office, in person, by fax (630-584-6712) or by mail (307 Cedar Ave., St. Charles, Illinois, 60174). We review building use requests at our Tuesday afternoon staff meetings and will confirm all requests once they have been approved.

Note that EVERYONE who uses our building must adhere to any church guidelines and policies.
