Sunday School: PreK-5th Grade students are invited to attend classes right after the Time of Young Christians/Children’s Message each Sunday. Through singing, Bible stories, hands-on-activities, and child-friendly themes, our youngest Christians will have faithful and fun-filled experiences that are tangible, applicable, and meaningful to children’s everyday lives. Read all about it here. Sign up for Sunday School here. The program runs through May 24 and will pick back up in September.

Sunday Funday for all Generations: On select third Sundays, gather after worship at 10:30 a.m. in Baker Hall for refreshment, fellowship and great fun with faith formation activities for all ages. Each Sunday Funday is a different theme based on a bible story, a particular season or mission related project.

Save the Date for Summer VBS

Pack your bags and join the adventure! Camp Hope VBS is just around the corner, running from June 22–25, from 9 to 11 a.m. daily.
Are you ready to report for duty at camp? We are looking for happy campers to help us decorate, lend gear, or join our squad of superstar volunteers—claim your spot on the Camp Hope Roster today! We currently have 10 campers enrolled and would love to see that number grow. Please help us spread the word to your neighbors, friends, and grandchildren. You can register children via the church app or here; the deadline to enroll is June 16.
This year’s camping-themed curriculum explores how seeds of hope grow in our hearts to be shared with the world. Campers will dive into powerful Bible stories—including Jesus’ childhood, the Parable of the Sower, the Mustard Seed, and the Wilderness—to discover living, practicing, lifesaving, and celebrating hope. These stories focus on spiritual growth through prayer, scripture, and acts of kindness. Our adventure will be guided by Camp Counselor Pastor David and Camp Director Shelly, along with our friends Benny the Bear and Bella the Butterfly. Activities include spirited campfire songs, tasty snacks, organized games, cool science experiments, and creative arts and crafts.

VBS VOLUNTEERS: We require at least 25 volunteers to make our Vacation Bible School a success. Please visit our SignUpGenius page to view volunteer roles and a wishlist for camp items (such as pop-up tents) to help decorate the space.
Children's Music Programing

Wesley Singers: Children (1st-8th grade), Kathy Olivarez, Director
Rehearsals for the Wesley Singers are on Wednesdays from 4:30-5:00 p.m. They sing in church once a month October-May. The ensemble is open to boys and girls 1st-8th grade. Choir members will learn to use the hymnal, read music notation and sing in harmony. Rehearsals begin September 18th.
Chapel Chimes: Children (2nd-8th grade), Kathy Olivarez, Director
Rehearsals for the Chapel Chimes are on Wednesdays from 5-5:30 p.m. They play in church once a month October-May. The ensemble is open to boys and girls grades 2-8. Ringers will learn to read music notation, learn hand chime techniques and perform as an ensemble. No prior experience is required but a commitment to weekly rehearsals is necessary. Rehearsals begin September 18th.
Nursery
We welcome you and your small children to our Nursery at Baker Memorial UMC. Our Nursery room is available and is located on the lower level.
